Winnipeg to Cancun, Mexico - $275 to $375 CAD roundtrip including taxes [Nonstop Flights]

Flair Air has just added a new route to their winter schedule: Winnipeg to Cancun, Mexico

Introductory prices are $275 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

Add about $100 roundtrip to Flair's prices for a more realistic price with a piece of carry-on luggage to compare against Air Canada and WestJet.

Booking with Flair comes with risk. They've been known to drop routes without warning. If a flight is cancelled or delayed they usually don't have an alternative way of getting you to your destination (many routes only have flights 2-3 times a week). This tends to become a larger risk during winter when weather can affect the operations of all airlines.

But there's no denying that Flair brings much needed competition to the marketplace.

Here's what WestJet and Air Canada are currently priced at for the same roundtrip flights to Cancun in February 2024 ...



Yep, $800 to over $1000+ CAD roundtrip!

Flair has also added Winnipeg to Orlando-Sanford, Florida (SFB) as a new route. The cheapest flights are $199 (base fare) to $299 (with carry-on) roundtrip.

Note that Orlando-Sanford (SFB) is a different airport than Orlando's main airport (MCO). It's about a 45 minute drive to Walt Disney World from SFB. (By comparison, Orlando's main airport, MCO, is a 20 minute drive). A lot of people actually prefer SFB (smaller, easier).

2. Search for a flight from:

Winnipeg (YWG) to Cancun, Mexico (CUN)

- Look for the dates that are $136 on the way there, and $136 on the way home.
