Delta has dropped the price of their flights from Winnipeg to Hong Kong down to $651 CAD roundtrip including taxes for travel in the fall of 2017.
The flights have 2 stops each way, in Calgary and Seattle.

How to find and book this deal
1. Start with the following Google Flights search...
Google Flights: Winnipeg to Hong Kong
Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations.
If you try selecting the flights in Google Flights, you will eventually get to a dead end.
To book these flights...
2. Go to Momondo
Search for a flight from Winnipeg to Hong Kong (HKG)
Use the same dates you found on Google Flights.
3. Once your Momondo search completes, use the 'Max Flight Duration' slider on the left hand side, and set it to around 48.
You should now see flights with about 20-22 hours of travel time each way.
Click through to Fareboom (or whichever booking site is showing these flights).
